Strengthening Academic Collaboration: MU-UWC Partnership in Action

In a recent visit to the University of the Western Cape (UWC), Astrid Villamil from the University of Missouri (MU) deepened research collaborations with UWC scholars Fikile Vilakazi and Maria Van Staden.

Their engagement fostered new synergies and reinforced institutional ties between MU and UWC. As this partnership continues, Vilakazi and Van Staden will travel to Columbia this September to advance their collaborative work. This exchange highlights the shared commitment of both institutions to global engagement, research excellence, and academic cooperation.
