We are pleased to inform you that the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has opened calls for scholarship applications for the 9th intake of the African Business Education Initiative for Youth (ABE Initiative) and the SDGs Global Leader Programme.
The ABE Initiative aims to support the young generation wishing to contribute to the development of industries in Africa and bridge the gap between Africa and Japan by deepening their understanding of Japan’s society and business culture.
The SDGs Global Leader Programme aims to improve the capacities of mid-career public officials, academic researchers, and other people who are expected to contribute to the socioeconomic development of their respective countries.
Scholarship applications for both programmes are due on 31 October 2021, and studies will commence in September 2022.
The ABE Initiative offers a two-year Master’s degree and an internship of between one week and six months, and the SDGs Global Leader Programme offers a three-year Master’s degree or PhD in a Japanese University.
