Student Exchange Programmes
Through establishing international partnerships that create opportunity for mobility, we encourage our students to become global citizens.
Outgoing from UWC
Student exchange takes place between partner institutions where a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) exists. Students are selected through an agreed nomination procedure. They will continue to be registered at the home institution and at the host institution for the duration of the exchange semester.
Students participating in an exchange semester remain liable for tuition fees at UWC, while the host university waives tuition. Students follow course enrolment or a study plan, approved by their home department. Credits are transferred at the end of the exchange period.
Incoming to UWC
Where a student exchange MoU exists, applicants must apply through their home university’s international office. Student exchange takes place through formal agreements between UWC and its partner institutions, where the terms are agreed in advance of the nomination. This includes duration of stay and credit transfer.
Doctoral students should include a brief motivation, research outline and a letter of support from their home supervisor. All other students can apply through their home university’s international office.
