Henry Mitchell Scholar Report 2023

The University of Missouri (UM) and University of the Western Cape (UWC) partnership has evolved significantly over the past two decades, transitioning from a focus primarily on faculty exchanges to a broader scope of student opportunities.

In 2001, the UMSAEP committee introduced the Henry Mitchell Scholarship, a tribute to a former committee chair and esteemed faculty member at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. This scholarship programme aims to facilitate academic exchanges between UM and UWC by providing financial support to deserving students.

In 2023,UWC student Mische Muller was awarded the scholarship. Read more on her experience in the attached report
