The University of the Western Cape International Relations Office is pleased to share the Call for Papers for GAPSYM18, the annual international symposium hosted by the Africa Platform of the Ghent University Association (AUGent).
Now in its 18th edition, this conference offers a unique interdisciplinary platform for researchers working in and with African institutions to present their work, exchange ideas, and explore partnerships. This year’s theme, “Resources in Africa,” will address how natural, cultural, and intellectual resources shape the continent’s development and position in the global arena.

Researchers from all disciplines are welcome, and collaborative submissions with African-based partners are especially encouraged.
