Call for Applications: 4th Learn Africa Canarias Programme for African Women

We are pleased to announce the launch of the fourth call for applications for the Learn Africa Canarias Programme, a fully online training initiative exclusively for African women who are currently pursuing or have completed university studies. This programme is supported by the Directorate-General for Relations with Africa of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Since its inception in 2020, the programme has awarded 1,280 scholarships, benefiting 936 women from 44 African countries. Its main objective is to enhance professional skills and employability through accessible, flexible, and practical online learning, offered by prestigious academic and professional institutions in the Canary Islands.

What’s New in 2025?

This year’s edition introduces exciting new content, including:

Basics of Innovative Entrepreneurship
Continuation of Spanish language and university-level courses, developed by:
- University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC)
- University of La Laguna (ULL)
- Their respective foundations (FULP and FGULL)
- Canary Islands Institute of Technology (ITC)

Duration: July to November 2025
Application Limit: One application per person per category

- 1 Spanish language course
